Deleting Your Data

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Swell is a product of Cristian Horta Consulting, a sole proprietorship in San Diego, California.

How to have Swell delete what it holds about you, including data received from Facebook and Instagram. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect.

1. How to Delete Your Data

  • If you contacted a business through Swell (its website chat, phone line, text messages, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram): email support@askswell.com with the business's name and the phone number, email, or Facebook or Instagram name you used. We'll delete your messages, photos, and contact details from Swell and confirm by email. You can also ask the business directly.
  • If you run a Swell account: delete individual requests in your dashboard, or email us to delete your account and everything in it, including uploaded photos.

2. Facebook & Instagram Connections

A business can disconnect its Facebook Page or Instagram account in Swell's Settings at any time, and Swell deletes the stored Meta access tokens right away.

Removing Swell from your Facebook or Instagram settings (under the apps and business integrations connected to your account) does the same: Meta tells Swell, and Swell deletes the connection and its tokens. If you also ask Meta to have Swell delete your data, Swell deletes the connection and its tokens and gives you a confirmation code that links back to this page.

To delete the messages and photos a business received through Messenger or Instagram, email support@askswell.com as described above.

3. What We Keep

We may keep a record that a deletion happened, and anything the law requires us to keep, such as billing records. Everything else tied to the request is deleted from Swell.
